About the work
Stephanie Ellison is an artist from Southern Illinois. She has worked in a range of mixed media and painting. In her most recent project, she's turned to lost wax casting sculptural and wearable works from wax, melting sweets and chewed gum.  This piece is cast from Red Vine torn in half by the artist.
